In Roscioli the atmosphere is great service was excellent wine selection fantastic but it is the food which stars. The deli selections are incredible we had a burrata with these incredible semi sun dried tomatoes with Mortadella simple but beautiful. the anchovies here are incredible. You can find the best carbonara pasta in Rome . So rich and scrumptious. Roscioli Is an absolute must eating experience when in Rome.

Roscioli has three places, two of them next to each other. Third is near by. In the historical center. Best place to eat carbonara, best place to have coffe. They have caffe gaimmaica a small coffe maker from Verona, one of the best in Italy. The bakery is always full. Decent pizza, fast and on the cheap side. Coffe shop and the restaurant are on the expensive side. The restaurant works also as a grocery. Great place for shopping good food.

For great bread of all kinds and pizza this bakery is very famous. Just head across the street (in via dei Giubbonari 21) there is their fantastic delicatessen and restaurant with excellent wine cellar that hosts great wine tastings. You can taste here the best Carbonara in Rome.
