5 minute walk from house ( 0.2 mile). A true Ann Arbor local (Townie) favorite. Great staff and service. It starts jamming early for dinner 5:30. Wait is not to bad, but you can make reservations.

Knight’s Steakhouse –This is by far our favorite. It is open for lunch and dinner. Drive South on Maple until you reach Dexter. Turn left on Dexter. Knight’s is the second building on the left. There is no sign, only a chess piece. The steaks are wonderful, as is the fish. I would suggest avoiding any of the pasta specials, but their spaghetti is good. They have a selection of beer and wine. Price is moderate. If you want to go during a busy time, call ahead and make a reservation, or at least get your name on the waiting list.

A great steakhouse that's known for their stronger-than-normal pours for cocktails ;) Weekends can get busy so make a reservation if you plan to go during peak hours.
