Golden Gate Park is the perfect place for a picnic. Stowe Lake is the perfect place to rent a row boat and/or stroll around the lake. If you're a cyclist you'll love this relatively flat ride with a dedicated bike lane! The DeYoung Museum, the California Academy of Sciences, the Conservatory of Flowers and the Japanese Tea Garden are four destinations alone that will have you want to invest an entire day in this world-class park. Golden Gate Park is less than ten minutes away from your home-away-from-home. Recommended entrances: At Ocean Beach or 30th Avenue!

The top of the Marin Headlands is called Hawk Hill. From there you have a one-way, world class descent that takes you out to Rodeo Beach, along the back side of the Marin Headlands and then up again to the bridge. From the bridge down Lincoln Blvd. is a joy ride til you hit El Camino del Mar. Take in the stunning Sea Cliff neighborhood around you until you reach your home destination. Bonus Points: Climb El Camino del Mar just past 32nd Avenue up to the Palace of Legion of Honor.
