Bathing places
The bathing area has a capacity for more than 200 bathers per day. The bath is an EU bath. Bjärbybadet has long beautiful sandy beaches. Here it is shallow and child - friendly. Parking is available and the possibility of camping. Bjärbybadet is run by Runstens Bygdegårdsförening, which takes care of this idyllic place on the east side.
There is also a dog bath and sometimes the cows goes out for at bath.

The lighthouse is owned by the Swedish Maritime Administration and staffed by BirdLife Sweden. The proceeds go to the operations at Ottenby bird station. In other words, your visit to the lighthouse is a significant support for the work with protection and research on our migratory birds.
