A beuatiful and well maintained x-country ski area near the base of Kicking Horse Mountain Resort, we love it and we bet you will too! This area also does snowshoeing if that's your thing.

-Golf Course you can cross-country ski the 18 holes. It is mostly flat. 6km of classic trails. -Golden Nordic Ski Club, located at Dawn Mountain has 33 km of trails for classic and skating. There is also snowshoeing

The Dawn Mountain Nordic Centre is located less than 1 km from the base of Kicking Horse Mountain Resort. With a beautiful log chalet, lessons, rentals and regular grooming, Dawn Mountain is a must-visit for any winter vacation in Golden, BC. Family friendly and just completely magical, peaceful, serene and it feels like a 'winter wonderland' tucked in the mountains.
