A fascinating collection of items from shipwrecks. There is a lot of information about how these wrecks came about and the methods of recovering items from the wrecks. Generally, very interesting.

The Shipwreck Treasure Museum can be found in the Merchants of Charlestown building over looking Charlestown harbour, Cornwall. Four-legged friends are very welcome at the Shipwreck Treasure Museum and dog bowls with water are placed around the Museum for their comfort as much as yours.

Charlestown is an old historic port with large clipper ships moored in the harbour. It has been made famous through movies like Pirates of the Carribean, Poldark, Alice in Wonderland and The Eagle has landed. There are many places to eat and an excellent rum bar right down in the harbour, a hidden gem.
