Try the Maltese pastizzi. There are two staple alternative fillings - ricotta (cheese) and pea. (I stay away from the newer "chicken"-filled ones.) Most people order 2 or 3 per person. Qassatat are larger than pastizzi and come with ricotta or pea filling. (2 minutes walk)
