Great walk along the river with paved sidewalks. One end of the trail includes a bridge over the river on to a island. Great views!

Another great family place to float down the river, fish, walk or bike ride. Beautiful scenery with easy access

Enjoy this 7.3-mile out-and-back trail near Columbia, South Carolina. Generally considered an easy route, it takes an average of 2 h 15 min to complete. This is a popular trail for backpacking, birding, and fishing, but you can still enjoy some solitude during quieter times of the day. The trail is open year-round and is beautiful to visit anytime. Dogs are welcome but must be on a leash. chrome-extension://efaidnbmnnnibpcajpcglclefindmkaj/viewer.html?pdfurl=https%3A%2F%2Friveralliance.org%2Fwp-content%2Fuploads%2F2015%2F09%2FSaludaRiverwalkMap.pdf&clen=8172328&chunk=true

The Saluda Riverwalk is the crown jewel and latest addition to the Three Rivers Greenway system. Access off of Candi Lane just upriver from the Zoo main entrance and park in the new paved parking lot. The trail is around 5 miles if you go both ways. To the left is a 1,000 foot wood boardwalk overlooking Mills Race (our largest rapid) and ends at the beautiful Boyd Island Sanctuary. To the right is a beautiful stroll/bike/hike/skate up the river. The water is calmer, the forest is less dense and the views are spectacular. Great trail for getting away from the city and it's 5 minutes by car from Earlewood.
