There are bay and ocean beaches available for beach lovers. However, some ocean back beaches can be dangerous with strong rips, so it is advised to swim only at beaches that are patrolled by surf lifesavers and be sure to swim between the flags.

Enjoy wide stretches of sand, tidal reef flats and views across to Phillip Island. The 700 metre long main beach is perfect for safe swimming spots and the shallow Stony Creek at the northern end offers additional fun for the very young.
