This place is like a Roman style where you can see some greek architectural design. It's worth taking pictures in every corner while enjoying the nice view overlooking the whole city of Cebu.

The story of Temple of Leah is the same as Taj Mahal, a mausoleum in India built as a symbol of undying love. Temple of Leah is Teodorico Soriano Adarna’s gesture of love to his late wife Leah Albino-Adarna, a life partner for 53 years.

Historiallinen paikka
“Magellan's Cross (Spanish: Cruz de Magallanes, Tagalog: Krus ni Magallanes) is a Christian cross planted by Portuguese and Spanish explorers as ordered by Ferdinand Magellan upon arriving in Cebu in the Philippines on (depending on source) 16 (U.S. date) or 17(Philippines date) March 1521.This cross is housed in a chapel next to the Basilica Menor del Santo Niño on Magallanes Street, just in front of the city center of Cebu City. A sign below the cross states that the original cross is encased inside the wooden cross made of tingalo wood. This is to protect the original cross from people who chipped away parts of the cross for souvenir purposes in the belief that the cross possesses miraculous powers. Some people, however, believe that the original cross has been destroyed or disappeared after Magellan's death and the cross is a replica that was planted there by the Spaniards after they successfully christianized the Philippines.”

“Built in 1972 by the Cebu’s substantial Chinese community, the Cebu Taoist Temple has a replica of the Great Wall of China by its entrance. And it includes a chapel, library, souvenir shop, and a wishing well. Devotees and tourists alike visit here to perform rituals - like the climbing of its 81 steps, which represents the 81 chapters of Taoism scriptures, the lighting of joss sticks and having their fortune be read by the monks.”

“There’s plenty of history to be seen in Cebu City, and Fort San Pedro is one such historic location. First built as a wooden fort around 1565, the current structure is a triangular bastion fort that has been around since 1738. Nowadays, Fort San Pedro no longer houses soldiers but a museum, an open-air theater, and the Cebu office of the Department of Tourism. If you’re looking to be transported back to colonial times, Fort San Pedro is the place to go. Type: Tourist attraction Location: A. Pigafetta Street, Cebu City, 6000 Cebu Directions: Fort San Pedro is a 40-minute drive from the Mactan-Cebu International Airport. From the airport, take Lapu-Lapu Airport Rd to M.L.
