Barbarossa was born in September 2016 “to bring people back to healthy eating”, explains Alessio. The bread from the Albanesi oven is dairy-free, free of hydrogenated fats and added sugars. The meat is raised in the Sabina pastures ("Poggio Moiano, grandmother's town") and the vegetables are grown regionally: "even the transport determines the quality", the short supply chain guarantees an always fresh product that is never wasted. Giving up frozen food is an identity and risky position, the possible unavailability of a dish could penalize. But, on this point, no hesitation: “the certainty about the freshness of the ingredients is always a pro”. Barbarossa is a reference, a constantly evolving meeting point. Not only for lunch and dinner, but also for the aperitif for which an ad hoc formula has been devised: a box (8) of 3 mixed mini hamburgers, fries, onion rings and sauces, accompanied by beer or a glass of wine, to be enjoyed on the veranda or wherever you want. Each season has its "SpecialOne", a sandwich with strong flavors and strong celebratory combinations of the typical ingredients of the moment while, every day, the proposal differs for significant attentions towards the customers among which the one on Friday stands out, "the Caraffa day" : for 1 liter of beer ordered (10), another is offered.
