Rotating artists show and sell their creations in these tiny houses down at the Harbor overlook. Cool to walk around and see the ferries go in and out of the harbor.

The artist shanties now have two locations - 12 shanties in all. Seven at Bismore Park at the harbor and 5 more at Overlook, at the intersection of South St and Ocean Avenue. New artists every Monday, shanties are open 7 days a week, 11 am - 8 pm.

Stroll along Hyannis Harbor and meet Cape Cod artists working and selling their art. Rotating artists every work, including: photography; paintings; handmade jewelry from metals, gemstones, glass, beach stones; ceramics; mosaics; mariner knot work; wood carving; tapestry; fiber art and much more!

Each week a new group of artists rent out a shanty to show off their work. The art ranges from jewelry, painting, pottery, sculpture, knitting to one stained glass artist, which is me from Aug. 23 - 30. Sorry, that was a cheap plug! But the shanties are on the docks where you can get a harbor ride or go to the Islands of Martha's Vineyard to Nantucket. Also, many local fishermen are docked there, giving you a great insight into what these boats and individuals to to bring you your fresh fish to the table.
