Hidden gem for secondhand clothes etc., where you might just find some bargain treasure, hidden amongst the trash. It all goes to a good cause too. Don't be afraid of the locals :)

Wayside is a not-for-profit that provides services and food to the homeless and under-privileged people of Kings Cross. They have a service on Sunday mornings which can hardly be described as religious. Always moving, often funny. The cafe sells excellent quality food at a fraction of the cost you would pay elsewhere. The philosophy is to provide dignity and break down the us and them.

The Wayside Chapel Op Shop is packed with clothes, jewellery and kitsch delights. Think designer labels donated by wealthy patrons as well as vintage finds. Every dollar spent goes to people in need.

If you'd like to "off-set" the indulgence of your time in Sydney by giving a little back, this place does a great job serving those less fortunate in our area and always welcome donations
