14 mi—just turn right off of Woodward and drive until you get there. GREAT SUNSET VIEWS—take food or drinks and enjoy! Picnic tables, bathrooms, boardwalk, fishing pier, shallow boat ramp.

An incredible 6 mile drive back Fort Island Trail straight to the ocean and beach. You'll feel like you are driving in the everglades. The beach has nice silky white sand with an incredible evening sunset. Not to forget the walk-out pier and stunning boardwalk winding through the woods to access it. It also has a boat ramp that launches straight into the Gulf of Mexico.
