This neighborhood has a hard working past of factories and manufacturing. But that's behind us now! Walk along the canal and be reminded of the olden days. There are new parks and nice walks to have just down the street. Great for taking in the sunset.

Historic canal with unique old brooklyn feel, great for photographs, history, and close to great neighborhoods with restaurants and shops - Park Slope, Carrol Gardens. My art studio is also here ;)

It might not smell good, and it might be full of toxins, but the Gowanus is a pretty unique site. It has several different bridges of different kinds that transverse it.
