Turkish culture really matches the German one when it comes to food. If you are in Germany for the first time you should know, Turkish people heavily moved to Germany in the early 1960s and since then, their culture became more and more important here. Today, this means there are (also) a lot of Turkish restaurants around. I would recommend you this one!
