Warm hospitality and truly excellent gastro pub food at this local. Alexandra is a town of 5 pubs (!) and this is by far our pick of the bunch. Why? Well if we are to judge a book by its cover, I love its styling because it a little edgy but still pays homage to its historic origins. Secondly, it is owner operated and you can feel the heart and soul in the place. Thirdly, the menu and wine list are solid. The burgers are excellent and my favourite is their fresh trout tacos. Ask for a local beer or wine recommendation and you won't be disappointed. Family friendly with a sweet courtyard out the back.

Great service and brilliant food made from seasonal local produce. Jackie and Pat will take good care of you. Relax in the beer garden, or in front of the cozy fireplace.

Restaurant is produce-driven, seasonal, and prepared with passion. In the evenings an a la carte or chefs tasting menu are on offer.
