The Town of Crested Butte owns and operates the ice rink, adjacent to the Nordic Center. CB Nordic staffs the warming house and rents ice skates for use on the public rink. All skate rentals include a use fee assessed by the Town of Crested Butte. The use of the rink is free if you bring your own skates

The nordic center provides some of the best nordic skiing in the state and in the country. They also are generally happy to give local recommendations to friendly visitors.
