Interesting place to visit. History and art museum, plus a replica village portraying native life prior to the Europeans' arrival.

Great to learn about Ontario heritage and culture. From 1890-1961, iconic Midland photographer J.W. Bald documented, in considerable detail, the people, activities, and major events of his community. He also captured the spare beauty of Georgian Bay during fall fishing and hunting expeditions. In 1909, travelling with companions Bruce and Bert Hanly, he sailed from Midland to Killarney, recording the trip with his camera, and capturing the landscape, people and communities of a lost age. Join Huronia Museum at its annual Heritage dinner to hear artist John Hartman discuss this trip.

History exhibits and native life portrayal. It has a museum and the actual representation of a village and the way of life of the Huron Ouendat Nation many years ago. Great for families.
