This is one of my preferred streets in Paris. It's full of life, restaurants and some great bars. Mainly from Bastille to Voltaire. It smells like the Paris I love.

A bit further away you are near the Bastille area. If you cross over toward East, go to Rue de la roquette. Very lively street at night where lot of 20-30 people go out.
