The Holy Virgin Cathedral, also known as Joy of All Who Sorrow, is a Russian Orthodox cathedral in the Richmond District of San Francisco. It is the largest of the six cathedrals of the Russian Orthodox Church Outside Russia. Very beautiful cathedral with a rich history. Open to the public almost every day. Best to at least wear pants and shoes (rather than shorts, flip flops) and women should preferably wear a dress, but really it is your choice. That being said, it is not something you should flock as a tourist and need to be respectful to its purpose as a church.
