This is closest Wellfleet-operated ocean beach. Officially named "Maguire's Landing" but most commonly called simply "Lecount's." You'll need a town parking pass here (obtain at beach office at the town pier)

Upon approach to this stunning beach, even as you enter the parking lot you'll gasp when you see sky and ocean meet. This is the place. A quick walk down the dune path and you're alone with seals in the absolute BEST spot to watch the sun rise. Be aware: Before high season, parking is free. July and August will require a fee for parking.
