If you're feeling stressed, you can just head east to 10th Avenue on Clement (turn right on 10th) or Geary (turn left of 10th). The library has a playground for kids if you have any to run around and burn off energy. On your way back, you can stop by for a nice bowl of clam chowder at Boudins. (See below)

This library branch was just renovated two years ago, and it's a great spot, particularly if you have kids. Not only do they have a great kids' section, but there's a playground out back!
