I'm including The Light Center in my guidebook because it's one of the very first things I learned about when I moved to Asheville in the early 90's. It's just a beautiful meditation spot and an alternative activity to the usual sight-seeing or hiking.

Great for meditation, reflection or just hiking around the grounds. The Light Center is open 24 hours a day !

Light Therapy, Meditation Dome, hikes, river with deep parts for water play, sometimes drum circles and events...not sure if they're back to that with the whole covid situation
