The U8 takes you up north and south in the city. It can take you to a hip area like Mitte, Alexanderplatz, Rosentallerplatz, Weinmeisterstrasse etc. It's the best train line in the city because it goes directly north and covers great hoods. The U7 is also very useful. There are many buses from Hermanplatz that will take you quickly around the city.

Great central location for shopping at the huge department store Karstadt, close to lots of bars and cafes, and a transport hub to other locations.

At this subway station the lines U7 and U8 cross and provide a fast connection to the centre, to Kreuzberg and to the Ring train.
