At Cape Henlopen State Park, you’ll find the Gordon’s Pond Trail, which takes visitors through the State Park and provides incredible views of the salt lagoons. The trail starts at the Gordon’s Pond parking area in Rehoboth Beach and travels north to finish at the Cape Henlopen State Park towards the bottom of the Herring Point parking area. This is a great way to get from Rehoboth to Lewes and back while seeing the best that nature has to offer, it’s considered the most beautiful hike in Delaware. It's a long walk, but it's a relaxing bike ride, and fairly flat and easy. Using the two trails (Gordon’s Pond Trail and Junction & Breakwater Trail) you can bike a 16 mile loop between Rehoboth Beach and Lewes.

Fantastic 3.2 mile walking trail that runs from North Shores Beach in Rehoboth to Herring Point in Cape Henlopen State Park. Great for walks, runs and biking as well as bird watching
