This is a lovely open space which hosts events such as Kite Day a farmers market, plays and concerts throughout the year. At the top of the common there is a wooded nature reserve for peaceful and calm walks. Also there is a lovely secluded rookery with beautiful and varied plants and flowers, a little water feature and seating areas ideal for picnics.

Local nature reserve with stunning views of London and Croydon. Also recommend the Rookery Cafe by the Rose Gardens. Directions: You can catch the 50 Bus from Brook Road which will take you to Streatham High Street bordering the Common. From the station: you can take the 250 Bus.
