The Stadthuys is the most imposing relic of the Dutch era in Melaka . It is the massive red town hall and governors' residence,built between 1641 and 1660 and believed to be the oldest Dutch building in the East. Famous with it's red color building, Stadhuys is rich with Mallaca history. It is known as oldest Dutch building in the East, previously a State government offices after The Dutch captured Melaka in 1641. Today, it becomes a History and Ethnography Museum of Melaka.
