AT NEARLY A MILE IN LENGTH, BIG RIVER CROSSING IS THE LONGEST PUBLIC PEDESTRIAN BRIDGE ACROSS THE MISSISSIPPI. Big River Crossing is also the country’s longest active rail/bicycle/pedestrian bridge. It serves as the connection point of Main Street to Main Street, a 10-mile multi-modal corridor that also features the Delta Regional River Park and Big River Trail, creating ties to attractions between Memphis, TN and West Memphis, AR.

No matter your method of movement, all pedestrians welcome! This trail is not only free, but it takes you over the Mississippi River for a breathtaking view of the bridge & city.

We have a new bike/walking path that allows you to cross the Mississippi River. Highly recommended! And afterwards, stop at Loflin Yard for a unique outdoor bar/restaurant/hang out place. It's hard to describe - an urban bar with games, beer and live music on the property of an old locksmith/key factory?

Beautiful views of the Mississippi River from a walking bridge! You can walk from Tennessee to Arkansas across the bridge and stand in both states at once! This bridge is also connected to the Green Line bike trail for cyclists to enjoy.
