If you make it to this area of Litchfield County, the White Hart Inn has delicious food and coffee. Takeaway is available. We like to stop here when we drive to the Berkshires in MA.

Restaurant/pub room/ outdoor eating in summer on the wrap around porch. The White Hart also has a take out coffee and lunch shoppe which is great for picnic sandwiches.

The White Hart has been at the heart of Salisbury for decades. They have a wonderful restaurant and a pub. Both serve good food and it's a nice stop for lunch or dinner.
