Sunset walk along the Tunnel than opens to Praia Formosa. The views onto Cabo girão are breathtaking. Go for a swim, have a coral beer, taste the local limpets or bolo do caco with garlic butter. My fav beach.

One of Funchal's best seafood restaurants is Doca do Cavacas, which juts out of the volcanic rock like an ocean-going liner. The semicircular glazed dining room provides 180-degree Atlantic vistas

Great place to eat seafood. Be sure to order "Lapas" as a starter. Grilled "Bodião" is a must. Go there around sunset and enjoy amazing views.
