Bamboo is generally a right hander. Good for beginners and experts. Best surfed at mid tide although it may be surfed at high tide too and low tide if you are an expert surfer. It can be dangerously shallow. Currents can be very strong and waves get big and heavy in the months of September/October. It can be surfed all around the year with its peak in September/October above mentioned, and its lowest during June/July. Not much localism as long as regular courtesy and priority is observed.
