Willow Falls is a unique waterfall in a narrow gorge along the Willow River in Wisconsin. This gem is located in Willow River State Park and has fairly easy access from multiple directions. As the main attraction of the park, the falls are by no means a secret spot, but they are gorgeous and well worth a visit. Short Hike: Willow Falls is located in Willow River State Park; access to the park requires a fee. The falls can be accessed from both the north and south sides of the river. The easiest and shortest access is from the Willow Falls parking lot located just north of the main state park entrance. The trail is only 0.4 miles long but goes down a very steep hill. Access from the north is via the Burkhardt Trail. The parking lot for the trailhead located on River Road, a short drive from the main park entrance. The trail to Willow Falls is a 1 to 1.5 mile long (one way) grassy and gravelly trail with some steep up and downs. The falls make for a great halfway stopping point on this trail. Family Friendly: Easy access, great views, and water to play in (bring clothes that can get wet)
