There are over a 1000 African Nile crocodiles housed in open dams .Guided tours every 45 minutes takes you over ramp ways and explains about their habits - very educational and you have a chance to hold a baby crocodile. Well worth a visit. www.lebonheurcrocfarm.co.za +27(0)21 863 1142

Located just outside Paarl (1h drive away from Cape Town city centre), this family-run farm gives little ones the rare chance to view hundreds of live Nile crocodiles. Verdant lawns, an outdoor jungle gym and an indoor playpen are also on site for kids.

Le Bonheur farm is one of our favorite places to visit - picnic under the willow trees, outdoor play park for the kids, paddle boats on the dam, fishing from the boat or shore, reptile display and crocodile experiences... Something for everyone in our family!
