From Birkelunden, continue down to the area around Olaf Ryes plass and Markveien. Lots of nice vintage shops, cafes and restaurants. One of my favorite second hand shops with reasonable prices is UFF Second Hand Løkka.

All around the square you will find restaurants, cafès and bars. A great place for pub crawling, grabbing something to eat or a coffee. And if the weather is nice, catch some sun on the lawn.
