Roskilde Cathedral has been the royal family's grave church for centuries and is listed on UNESCO's list of the inalienable cultural heritage of the world. The red brick cathedral with the many enveloped chapels and armor houses provides a unique insight into Danish building art and history for 800 years.

The Cathedral of Roskilde is world wide famous! It has been the main burial site for Danish monarchs since the 15th century, and it's been on UNESCO's heritage list since 1995. It's definitely worth a visit if you are visiting Roskilde :)

It is almost a must see. It is only about 20 minutes away with train and the 10 minutes walk. Almost all Denmarks Kings and Queens for the last 1000 years are buried here, and it is extremely beautiful. !

I like it very much, not that large but you can observe kings and queens of Denmark who was buried here for century.
