If you're after a quality country pub atmosphere, with a more upmarket menu offering one of the BEST steak meals available in the state (in fact, this place has won hospitality awards over several years), then you will love the very cool blend of the Rising Sun Inn at Auburn. Great wine list, great hospitality. Nice romantic spot for couples if you manage to grab a table out the front on a balmy summer's evening. Great jukebox too, dominated by Aussie rock to boot. We love it here for a night out.

The Rising Sun Hotel's reputation for excellence began in the late 1800's and has continued to the present day. Mick & Allyson Guerin, owners since September 2016, welcome you to enjoy the friendly hospitality and all that is on offer at the The Rising Sun Hotel. Dining is available at The Rising Sun Hotel in the Saloon, Dining Room, Front Bar, Elegant Hallway, Stables Function Room and outdoors under the verandah. The a-la-carte menu is both contemporary and innovative, from slow cooked lamb shanks served on garlic mash with a roasted vegetable ragout, or the chicken breast stuffed with prawns, brie and baby spinach, topped with a mustard cream sauce and a side of rosemary potatoes.

The Rising Sun hotel in Auburn (7 minutes drive) has great atmosphere and cracking meals. Located in the main street of Auburn, look them up!
